At the end of the race, Ricciardo finished in last place, while his teammate, Norris finished on the podium with 3rd place. Ricciardo qualified fourth at the Malaysian Grand Prix but moved up to second into turn one, after a collision between Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg.
