Strong relationships between educators, children and families are at the heart of meaningful learning and development.For Sally, it is incredibly important that families feel connected and part of the Happy Valley community. The National Quality Standard (NQS) is part of the National Quality Framework (NQF), introduced to enhance the quality of early childhood education and care services in Australia.
We offer a government-approved kindergarten program that supports early literacy, STEM discovery and social development, helping children prepare for a smooth transition to school. Many of our kindergarten children go on to attend nearby schools such as Greensborough Primary School, St Mary’s Primary School and Greensborough College, and we work closely with families to support this important early learning greensborough next step. They offer programs based  on the development and interests of every child as well as the culture and values of their families. With each centre operated by Council directly, we are committed to the safety and protection of children from abuse.

At Milestones, we aim to make high-quality early education accessible and affordable for local families. The centre no longer has the family friendly vibe that once was Joyce Avenue. I hope that they can rectify the problem to bring back a wonderful centre , but higher management within bayule didn't seem to care with issues I raised .And was also lied to over incidents saying I was first .
It is a place where children have the time and opportunity to thrive and reach their  full potential. All the staff at this centre are extremely friendly and helpful. The facility may not be the best, but overall it’s good enough.My child runs to the centre every day, and I can clearly tell that she really enjoys being there.
We aim to give all the children the tools for life-long learning. Our program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. As early childhood professionals we acknowledge the importance of time for children to explore, experiment, revisit experiences and develop awareness of their individual abilities. Play allows children to create, imagine, discover, and challenge each other’s thinking whilst also building new understandings. We also recognise the need for quiet and active play, educator initiated and child-initiated activities.

We value all children’s strengths, interests, skills, abilities, and knowledge, we believe that children’s learning should be supported and encouraged through positive interactions and discussions with the child’s family on a regular  basis. Families play a vital role in their children’s learning and we pride ourselves on developing relationships with our families to support them with their child’s learning and work together to bring out the best in every child. Our management and educators are dedicated to quality outcomes for children. All of our educators bring a range of different qualifications, skills and experience to our centre which allows us to ensure that every child is supported in both their development as well as their personal needs. If your child becomes unwell while at the centre, teachers will make them comfortable and ask you to pick them up. If you’re not available, they’ll call one of the other contacts listed on your enrolment form. When your child is feeling better with no symptoms for 24 hours, they’re welcome to return. Occasional care is flexible, and families can access care regularly or on an as-needed basis.
