We inspire children to think creatively and to work both independently and collaboratively, building essential skills in teamwork, empathy, and problem-solving. We design every experience to encourage connection, reflection, and shared discovery. Our Art Studio Program is a vibrant creative space where children are empowered to explore, imagine, and express themselves with confidence. Through open-ended, hands-on experiences, we foster curiosity, creativity, and meaningful communication in every child. Our play-based program intentionally provides a wide range of engaging opportunities and childcare bayswater vic 3153 activities based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
This allows our educators and teaching teams to build on the knowledge they have already developed of your child, including their individual strengths, goals, interests and developmental milestones. At Advance Early Learning Centres, our Government Approved Three-Year-Old and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten Programs are delivered as integrated programs within our long day care environment. This provides children with a seamless progression through their early learning journey, from infancy and toddlerhood through to Kindergarten and ultimately school. We take a play-based, inquiry-led approach, where children are encouraged to explore their interests, ask questions, and develop a deep understanding of the world around them. Learning is not rushed instead, it is thoughtfully extended over time, allowing children to build confidence, persistence, and a genuine love of learning. Free Kinder is part of the Victorian Government’s Best Start, Best Life reforms, which provides support to access two years of high-quality kindergarten programs for all Victorian children.
Our Maternal and Child Health service is a free and confidential service providing child health and developmental checks, information, advice and support to families with young children from birth to 6 years. Our Children and Family Centres in Bayswater and Wantirna South bring together long day care, kindergarten, maternal and child health services and playgroups in one location. We believe that the positive interactions children have with our staff are the most important component of our high-quality program. Our highly experienced and dedicated teachers and educators build strong, trusting relationships with each child, fostering a sense of belonging and confidence. Our centre provides children with a warm, friendly, safe, secure and inviting environment which encourages families input in all aspects of the daily program. Across the service we participate in incursions and excursions engaging with our local communities including dental visits, weekly library sessions, emergency services visiting the centre and anything else that may arise within our programs.
The Playground to Plate ® program connects to a wider educational approach centred around permaculture and sustainability. We see our learning environments as a third teacher that offers invitations to explore and investigate. They are places that develop, challenge and build children’s capacities with materials and relationships. We are thoughtful, mindful and deliberate about what environments and materials are provided and how these are presented as we believe this directly effects the way a child comes to the learning experience. When we speak of environments we value both the indoors and outdoors equally and have a particular emphasis on engaging learning that respects our natural eco systems, sustainability and environmental awareness.
We are committed to sustainability and deeply respect the natural environment. These values are woven into our daily teaching practices, helping children learn how to care for the world around them. We believe in a wide and varied program that requires specialised skills and as such we include the following additional programs for children throughout the week. These include but are not limited to cooking classes, art classes in our Atelier and a tailored community engagement program. We approach all our work with people with respect, ethics, integrity and empathy.
You’ll also need to provide key details and documents, including your child’s birth certificate, Medicare details, immunisation history statement and, if eligible, your Child Care Subsidy details. As your child prepares to head home, this is your opportunity to speak with our friendly educators about your child’s day and everything they learnt. Educators work closely with families to support each baby’s routines, comfort and developmental needs. Our goal is to nurture happy, healthy children and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
