Convenient on-site parking for small cars. Short walk to Fushimi subway station, close to restaurants, cafes, bars. Easy access to attractions by both train and on foot. The best place I have ever stayed in Nagoya. Shirotori Garden, only a 10-minute walk from Atsuta Shrine, is the biggest traditional Japanese garden in Nagoya. The 3.7 hectare garden is located inside Shirotori Park and was carefully designed with the help of artisans from other regions like Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture.

The room was very clean and comfy and right near a subway station to get to and from our destinations easily. Excellent location, next to the train station, great views looking out from hotel, excellent dining experience, very friendly staff, very helpful to our needs.
Today, visitors to Korankei can see the fruits of these past efforts in the form of excellent autumn scenery. The peak of the season usually takes place around mid to late November each year. Hotel was very clean and bed very comfortable. Into the evening, Nagoya lights up, and the real party begins.
The specialities of the area are a must try. It's a great base for day trips further afield; we took a bus tour to Takayama and Shirakawa-go which was also wonderful. There seems to be plenty to do but since we were only there a short while other than multiple restaurants we only really visited the castle.
Ready to discover the best hotels and apartments in Nagoya Osu? The Osu Kannon Temple and the fun Osu Shopping Street, with its mix of old and new shops, is a nice start for a day out. The rooms are compact yet well-equipped with all the necessary amenities like a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom.
Very conveniently located with affordable price. The cutlet, egg and rice were a perfect match and it was really delicious. If I go nearby again, I will eat katsudon.
A Nagoya original when it comes to ramen are the so-called Taiwan Ramen. So are characterized by hot and spicy minced meat as a topping. The Taiwan Ramen itself is a typical ramen, i.e. a noodle soup. In the restaurant “Hanabi” an extremely delicious variation, the so-called Taiwan Mazesoba, was invented.
Unlike the delicate subtlety of Kyoto Cuisine or the lavish Osaka food culture, local Nagoya specialties follow their own unique style and have the familiar feeling of hearty comfort foods. A wide variety of restaurants can be found around 名古屋 韓国料理 the city, especially around Nagoya Station and Sakae. Japan’s fourth most populous city, Nagoya, is in many ways analogous to Chicago, both in location and temperament. They also make Nagoya a prime destination for hungry travelers.
Excellent variety of cakes and delicious while cheap at the same time. Usually really crowded for take away but not to dine in. It was too sweet for me, but still enjoyed the pretty display of the cake! We recommend visiting Bucyo Coffee on weekdays, as the lines can get very long on the weekends.
During World War II, Osaka came under air raids in 1945 by the United States Army Air Forces as part of the air raids on Japan. On March 13, 1945, a total of 329 Boeing B-29 Superfortress heavy bombers took part in the raid against Osaka. According to an American prisoner of war who was held in the city, the air raid took almost the entire night and destroyed 25 square miles of the city. The U.S. bombed the city again twice in June 1945 and again on August 14, a day before Japan's surrender. If you prefer a lighter breakfast, go for the Morning Drink Set. This includes half a slice of toast and a mini soft-serve ice cream, along with your choice of tea, coffee, or juice. In addition to being delicious, the servings are relatively big.
