Students in the first year will study two Diploma programs simultaneously through the completion of eight subjects. In the second year students will undertake another 7 subjects to complete the Advanced Diploma. We invest in our students, grow the industry and support graduate career opportunities.

You'll combine audio with video and create immersive environments for multi-speaker and surround sound projects. Your learning will take place in our industry-standard recording studios and mixing spaces, and you will learn how to use specialist sonic arts software. This unit introduces students to practices, processes, and tools utilised in animation, games, and visual effects . Students will work through a series of self-contained exercises, with mentoring support from lecturers, which will provide entry-level practical experience. Areas of focus may include 3D modelling, surfacing, texturing, basic rigging, simple animation, rendering, game mechanics, simple programming, and delivery to different platforms.

This is filled with half-day, full-day and two-day workshops for ages 5-16. Each school holiday program has fun and quirky workshops inspired by the season, famous artists like Van Gogh or Monet, or popular children's entertainment like Among Us or Manga. Similar to the school year, they run four terms per year and while many students go for fun, some students use their portfolio to apply for selective creative High Schools. They offer discovery-style courses that cover a range of mediums each week like drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, and sculpture, and specialised courses for teens like illustration, and drawing and painting fundamentals.

Engaging in a pedagogy centred on culture and diversity, independence, autonomy and philosophy, students will examine the versatility of embedded identities and their influence on beliefs, values and biases, both positive and negative. Students will develop cross-cultural skills important to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities, and how to approach their therapeutic needs and healing.
