This apartment includes a full range of rooms (double room, single room, 4-person room, dormitory 臺東伴手禮 room) suitable for individuals and groups who want to find affordable accommodation. Every year from August to September, the whole mountain of Liushishi in Hualien is dyed with golden needle flower.
We worked together for over two years which was a dream, and in that time I was privileged to truly get to know her and her wonderful daughter Sepela. Israel Randell is a multidisciplinary artist who explores the notions of innovation as tradition. Mexico is filled with brightly coloured clothing and crafts that are designed to dazzle.

There are several activities to do there such as trekking and biking, and you can also do paragliding or arrange for a hot air balloon ride . The views are phenomenal and offer stunning scenery, this part of Taiwan definitively is the most beautiful one. Going on a hot air balloon ride over the area is one of the best things to in Taitung.
Ferries to Green Island and to Orchid Island depart from Fugang Harbor (富岡港), but for Orchid Island, I recommend flying there from Taitung Airport. One small road in particular, Brown Boulevard (池上伯朗大道, named after Mr. Brown, a local coffee chain) is one of the most famous cycling paths in Taiwan. It was catapulted to fame after a handsome Taiwanese-Japanese actor starred in an Eva Airlines commercial set there. For a mid-range choice, Chateau de Olea is a highly recommended local guesthouse.
The view of Green Island will make your visit even more memorable. These natural hot springs have been famous since the 18th century as a place of rejuvenation and relaxation in nature. On Saturday and Sunday there is also a “Slow Market” for visitors to walk around and shop. The eastern region is characterized by hilly topography, and the scenic spots are mainly distributed in the East Rift Valley or the Longitudinal Valley and the eastern coastal region. Also thanks to its characteristics, East Taiwan becomes an extremely attractive destination with many interesting things for tourists to explore and experience.
Eating is definitely one of the most satisfying things to do in Taitung, whether in famous Taitung Night Market on in sit-down restaurants that operate during the day. If you choose the latter strategy, I recommend following up a lunch of “short” rice noodles at Rong Shu Xia with a shaved snowflake ice at the cute shop just across the street. Even if it’s simply a stop along your road , I think you’ll find Taitung (pronounced Tai-dong—台東 literally means “Eastern Taiwan”) to be a highly underrated destination.

Postcards are the lightest souvenir you could pack and take home for your family, friends, and colleagues. Though, they’re a bit of a pain to prevent from crinkling in luggage. Counter this by stuffing them in a book and placing the book in your luggage.
This place is so big and good for spending time with your friends and family. Also, you are able to rent a bike to go around this area. BTW you have to pay the entrance fee before you get inside. This graph shows how an average day looks like in Taitung City in November based on historical data.
Mexico has a whole bunch of candy you’ve probably never heard of, which makes wandering down the aisles of the local supermarket a bit like going into a badly lit Willy Wonka sweet factory. These bites make for great gifts for people back home with a sweet tooth, though some of them are a bit of an acquired taste. Easily one of the most popular souvenirs from Mexico City, mezcal is the national spirit. Made from agave that has been cooked and fermented, it’s rather like wine, not in its taste but in that it can be made from different types of agaves and using different production methods. Frida Kahlo reigns supreme as Mexico’s most iconic artist, so it’s no surprise that merch bearing her face or facsimiles of her artwork are among the most popular gifts from Mexico.

I’ve also been challenged too with lockdown limiting public physical interactions. You can go for a walk to enjoy the scenery and see the abandoned aboriginal village or rent a scooter to explore the rest of the area.
There are seven ethnic groups living in Taitung country. Most of them are really integrated and there’s no way to differentiate them from Chinese-Taiwanese. Generally, the best way to observe aboriginal culture is during their festivals, then you’ll get a glimpse of their traditions. In Taitung County, you’ll still find some villages that kept a more traditional way of life.
