Our guests enjoy wide open spaces kangaroo island accommodation luxury which are home to a variety of Australian wildlife. Both  Western KI Caravan Park and Kangaroo Island Seafront have cabin accommodation that would be perfect for a family holiday – you could even stay in a family bell tent. In the meantime, these places do a great job of surrounding guests in luxury while enjoying the nature, food, wine, and other attractions on Kangaroo Island. Down at the western end of the island options are a little more scarce, but in Vivonne Bay you can find Wild Retreat. It sleeps 6 but you can have ocean views and the whole place to yourself. Vivonne Bay on the south coast is an obvious choice, but Snelling Beach and Emu Bay on the north are pretty nice too.

There are five camp­sites in the park dot­ted along the D’Estrees Bay coast­line. Wood fires and sol­id fuel fires are per­mit­ted with­in this campground’s des­ig­nat­ed fire pits, oth­er than on days of total fire ban (exclud­ing fire dan­ger season). The park is an ide­al loca­tion for swim­ming, fish­ing and bird­watch­ing and is just a short dri­ve from Cape Willough­by light­sta­tion.
It’s  not located on the beach itself but on the main road, between Hanson Bay and Flinders Chase National Park which is particularly handy. Part of the beach is protected by a natural barrier of rocks. This means that it creates shallow pools where kids can play safely.
